Welcome to the very first sister style feature post! This post idea is one that was started by Elsie and Emma at one of our favorite blogs - A Beautiful Mess. This feature will show our different styles and takes on outfits featuring a specific article of clothing or accessory.
As we mentioned on our "About Vera & Violet" page, we love a good deal when it comes to clothes and accessories! Our first sister style will be featuring a super cute A-Line Swing dress from Old Navy! (BTW, these are a great staple for any wardrobe and are on clearance right now in all different colors and patterns! You can find them here.)
Since we both have SO much black in our wardrobe already, we decided to change it up a little bit by going with the gray. It's still basic enough to be a staple, but breaks up the sea of black in our closets!
Jenny decided to style hers with a black floppy hat, black tights and booties. She added a white and gold gem necklace to dress it up a bit and add a little sparkle!
Jamie decided to style hers with a pop of color! (Which if you know Jamie, is a bit unusual because she is the lover of ALL things neutral.) Jamie styled her dress with a pair of wine colored pattern tights, a black scarf, black cutout ankle booties, some studded earrings & a matching wine colored lip to dress it up a bit.
